Delightful news today for our CatholicMom.com family as we welcome Danielle Bean as our new leader!

I’m thrilled to share the following from Father Wilfred Joseph Raymond of Holy Cross Family Ministries:

Holy Cross Family Ministries has been searching for a Brand Manager for our newly acquired ministry, Catholic Mom. After an extensive search, we have found and hired a very qualified candidate, Danielle Bean.

I am sure most, if not all, know Danielle. While her background information probably isn’t needed, I share it as we are so pleased with all of the gifts and experiences she brings to the position.

Danielle Bean, a mother of eight, is former publisher and editor-in-chief of Catholic Digest, the most popular and recognized Catholic magazine in the United States with over one million readers. She is also publisher of Catechist magazine and Today’s Catholic Teacher.
She is creator and host of The Gist, a weekly Catholic women’s television talk show in production of its seventh season on CatholicTV.

Danielle is author of several books for women including Small Steps for Catholic Moms (Ave Maria Press 2013), Momnipotent (Ascension Press 2014), and You’re Worth It! (Beacon 2015). She is also creator and host of the popular Girlfriends podcast and a popular speaker on a variety of subjects related to Catholic family life, parenting, marriage, and the spirituality of motherhood.

Danielle has a special heart for mothers, particularly those who struggle. She encourages women of all ages and stages of life to find humor in daily challenges and the joy God intends for every one of us. It is in her primary vocation to marriage and motherhood that Danielle finds the inspiration for all of her work.

Danielle’s skill set and experience will be well utilized as we all work with her to grow CatholicMom. She will work closely on the vision of CatholicMom with Lisa Hendey and the Executive Team at HCFM. Importantly, she will work daily with Barb Szyszkiewicz to maintain all the impactful tactics and programs of CatholicMom.com.
Please join me in welcoming Danielle to CatholicMom and to Holy Cross Family Ministries.”
