Today's Mass readings are some of my favorites, and particularly Proverbs 31, which always challenges and inspires me to give myself more fully in my marriage. That reading, coupled with the Gospel passage from Matthew 25 is a potent reminder to wake up every day desiring to give God and my family my very best. Sometimes the world around us can discourage us, disappoint and confuse us to the point where we question our mission and our impact. "Proverbs 31 woman" reminds me that my most beautiful mission territory will always be to lovingly serve my family. This is life's greatest blessing. I hope each of us (even those who are not wives or women) can hear the words of Proverbs 31 as our call to lovingly serve those around us with patience, perseverance, and joy. I hope your Sunday is blessed! ... See MoreSee Less

Thanks so much for reviewing this - I was hoping you would! It looked so cute, but you never know with movies like this if they're going to be done in a respectful way or not. Now that I've read your review, I can't wait to take the family to see it!

My friend, Denise Utter was a writer on this!

Will go with gramma and cousins over Thanksgiving!

Yes

Thanks!

Huge congrats to my colleague and friend Jon M. Sweeney on his new children's fiction work, "The Pope's Cat"! As one who has had a sneak peek at this book, I can share that you'll love it! Pre-order today at amzn.to/2yAmBt6 to send a strong message that we want and need more quality fiction for our children. Of this book, I said, “Young readers and the young at heart will surely fall in love with Margaret, the spirit-filled pet at the heart of The Pope's Cat! Accompanied by fanciful illustrations from Roy Deleon, Jon Sweeney’s first book for children invites us to peek inside the Vatican and discover a Pope who loves sugar cookies and early morning walks and adorable cats just like the rest of us. I can’t wait for more Margaret the cat and her adventures in Rome!” ... See MoreSee Less
